Georgia residents to pay tax via Bitcoin according to newly proposed Tax Amendment.

Residents residing in the state of Georgia in the United States will soon be able to pay their taxes using Bitcoin.

The senators have introduced a bill that allows residents to pay their taxes using digital currency payments.

New Amendment:

The two senators of Georgia, Joshua McKoon, and Michael Williams have proposed a new tax amendment, which will change the way of collecting taxes from residents using any type of digital currencies most probably with Bitcoin.

The commissioner shall convert payments made in cryptocurrency to United States dollars at the prevailing rate within 24 hours of his or her receipt of such a payment and shall credit the payorโ€™s account with such converted dollar amount.
