Cryptocurrency Investors in South Korea to be fined for anonymous accounts

South Korean financial officials have asked investors to link their anonymous virtual account with the verified accounts or else they will be fined. The rule has been circulated among banks and customers are linking their accounts.

Cryptocurrency investors and traders will be allowed to convert their virtual accounts to real-name accounts before the end of January and the amount of the penalty has not yet been finalized.
