All the people attending this conference will have the chance to listen from financial service companies that use blockchain technology. Meanwhile, they will also learn about new market opportunities in “remittances, e-commerce, and corporate marketplaces,” while understanding various frameworks for regulating virtual assets. Moreover, a Question and Answer session with Gene Sperling will be included in President Clinton’s address. Gene Sperling is a member of Ripple’s board of directors. The first Swell conference in 2017 was organized after the customers asked the company to “bring together leaders in banking and blockchain who are committed to changing the way the world moves money today.”
In July 2018, the company announced Kahina Van Dyke as its recent senior vice president of business and corporate development. David Schwartz was named chief technology officer of the company on the very same day.
